Calling a function

To call a functione simple start the line with the name of the function, for example:

Using parameter in a function-call

To use parameters in a function-call you have to write a space after the function or previous parameter and begin the parameter with an - and end it with an :. After the : the value of the parameter can be set:

functionname -PARAMETER:VALUE

If you want to write a space to the value of the parameter, you have to surround the value with a beginning and ending double quote:

functionname -PARAMETER:"MY VALUE"

Using the result of a function as the value for parameters

If you want to use the result of a function as a value for parameter, you have to use delegates: { }.

print -text:{toupper -text:"my upper text"}
